It's easy to forget that the guy behind the Andrews Gallery, Drew Snyder, is a young'un, still his 20s. But he's single-handedly upped the cultural cache of North County (Andrews is located in Leucadia). On Saturday, Sept. 26, the gallery closes The Language of Abstraction, an exhibition of works by renowned contemporary artist Ron Tomlinson. Snyder likes to do things multimedia, inviting local and touring musical acts to perform at openings and closings. In this instance, it's all about the ladies: Joanie Mendenhall and Angela Correa's Correatown will both be performing. The evening begins at 7 p.m. at 1002 North Coast Highway 101.
